Your navigation menu and page structure act as a map guiding visitors through your website. Instead of letting customers wander through a maze of information, setting up a streamlined path directs their focus straight into your sales funnel. In just 4 steps, you will have a professional "storefront" ready for business.
💡 Note: Understanding "Pages" vs. "Posts"
Pages: Used for static, permanent content (Home, About, Contact).
Posts: Used for frequently updated content (Blog, news, updates). By default, the system displays your latest posts on the front page. You need to follow the steps below to force the system to display a Static Homepage.
1. Create 4 essential pages
You need to create blank pages to act as the "skeleton" of your website first; detailed content will be added later.
From the left sidebar, select Pages and click Add New Page.
The system will open a blank canvas. Simply type the title and click Publish to quickly create these 4 pages: Home, About, Blog, Contact.

2. Set up a static homepage
Don't let the system automatically grab blog posts and display them randomly on your storefront. Let's designate a specific page to welcome your visitors.
Go to Settings and select Reading.
In the Your homepage displays row, check the A static page box.
In the Homepage dropdown menu, select Home.
In the Posts page dropdown menu, select Blog.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save Changes. The system will display a success message.
3. Create and organize your Menu
You should only place your 4 core pages on the top menu to avoid distracting your customers.
Go to Appearance and select Menus.
In the Menu Name field, type a recognizable name (e.g.,
Main Menu) and click Create Menu.Look at the Pages column on the left, check the boxes next to the 4 pages you just created, and click Add to Menu. The menu structure will appear in the right column.
Drag and drop the items up or down to arrange them in your desired order.
Scroll down to the Menu Settings section, check the Primary Menu box (or Header Menu 1), and click Save Menu.

4. Sync the Menu to your live site
This is the final step to make the menu actually appear on the front end of your website.
Go to Appearance and select Editor (or Site Editor).
Click on the Header area.
Click on the Menu 1 block and select the exact name Main Menu. The preview window on the right will immediately display the menu you just organized.
Click Save in the top corner to finish.
