Google Site Kit lets you monitor your website's "heartbeat" (traffic and search keywords) right from your admin dashboard without having to mess with complex code.

Step 1: Install the Google Site Kit Plugin

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New.

  2. Search for Google Site Kit.

  3. Click Install Now, then select Activate.

(Note: If your website is built on the Blueky platform, this plugin is often pre-installed. If so, simply go to your plugins list to activate it and skip the search step).

Step 2: Connect Google Search Console

  1. Ensure you are already signed in to your admin Gmail account on your current browser.

  2. Go to Site Kit > Dashboard.

  3. Check the data-sharing option boxes on the screen, then click Sign in with Google.

  4. Select the correct admin Gmail account.

  5. On the permission screens, check the Select all boxes and click Continue.

  6. Click Verify to let Google confirm your ownership, then click Setup to automatically generate Search Console. (Keep default settings and proceed if some prompts or buttons appear in a different language).

Step 3: Connect Google Analytics

Right after setting up Search Console, the system will automatically forward you to the Analytics configuration—no need to return to the dashboard to find the connect button:

  1. Review or fill in your details: Account Name (you can use your name), Property (your website domain), and Data Stream (leave as default). Click Create Account.

  2. When the new Google Analytics window opens, select your Country (e.g., Vietnam).

  3. Check the I Accept boxes for all terms of service.

  4. Important: Choose the business category that best fits your website (e.g., "Publish a blog" for personal sites, or "Sell products/Provide services" depending on your project).

  5. Click Complete setup.

To confirm a successful connection, return to the Site Kit Dashboard in WordPress. If you see graph blocks displaying "Gathering data," everything is working smoothly (actual data will begin to appear in 24-48 hours).
