Record a video
Best for: Multi-step processes, dynamic actions (e.g., clicking a submit button but the loading spinner won't stop).
Use the Google Vids extension so experts can see your exact mouse clicks in real time.
Install: Click to add the Google Vids Screen Record extension. Once added, "Pin" the icon to your browser's toolbar.
Start recording: Click the Google Vids icon. Turn on the Microphone, select Screen, and enable Noise Cancellation. Then click Next.
Reproduce and speak: Perform the actions on your screen while briefly explaining the issue over the microphone.
Stop and get link: Click Stop recording when finished. Select Share → Copy link to attach it to your support request.

Use the Lightshot extension to highlight and pinpoint the exact area you need help with.
Install: Click to add the Lightshot Screenshot Tool extension. Pin the feather icon to your browser's toolbar.
Capture and highlight: Click the Lightshot icon, then click and drag your mouse to select the target area. Use the toolbar that appears to draw arrows or red boxes around the error.
Save image: Click the Save icon (or press Ctrl + S) to download the image to your computer.
